So much history to this guitar. It was the ultimate rebel guitar in Russia. The electronics are insane. 3 on/off pick up switches 1 volume, 3 tones. 3 tone filter buttons. Need to tweak the offset that lower bowl of guitar and modify pickguard , currently tremolo in way of volume control.
Spectrum added middle pickup and phase/kill switches
Added switchcraft 47206LRX DPDT 2 way switches for the kill switches and phase switches. Different from the spectrum. Mono only output, original only had 2 phase switches, added another, removed stereo/mono toggle. Will add, create wooden switch covers to match original, can shape in out of wood ash pieces, painted with acrylic and matte finish and flush mounted screws. Removed toggle switch, may add kill switch at bottom.
Multiscale Tiesco for the rest of us. Killer contours!
Thanks to Hudson Wolf for provide the plans. I was able to scale and edit in illustrator. Never could afford a spectrum. Was thinking about adding the p bass style pickups but I just prefer the pickups on the octave. I think all the true magic is on the 24th fret. And eastwood guitars already makes a perfect replica. White pickguard just looks right on this. May add a middle pickup and phase switches, may add three on/off switches and 3 phase switches like on brian may guitar or 2 and 2. Will test how it sounds. Maybe make a custom colored plate with the slider switches

Multiscale 25.5-26.5 added 3 way varitone and toggle and tremolo bar
Mustang 3 way toggle switch as master tone, or maybe seperate for each pickup mounted on top half of pickguard. My tagima has a 5 way but I’d have to open it up to find the source if possible. 2 volumes to do morello clean killswitch. Tried to source a pushbutton killswitch, but the one I bought has clicky sound that will most likely transfer the sound, not as quiet as switchcraft toggle. Doubt it will be quiet when trying to kill the clean sounds.
Multiscale 25.5-26.5 with p90s
added p90, with 52mm and 50 mm spacing was able to get pole to line up on 24th and 48th fret. Can’t add a 22nd fret without sacrificing tone. Thinking about 12″ radius for the neck.
Multiscale 25.5-26.5
Specs
25.5-26.5 multiscale 1 inch fan
Wilkinson WVS50IIK, may upgrade to hipshot contour tremolo, pivot are closer to saddles.
Stained Shou Sugi Ban Finish from ash wood
Birdseye maple neck
Tone Ninja, staggered tuners, may upgrade to locking
wip, killswitch, p90s or mix w5ith humbuckers, really like the gold foils
Been inspired by a lot guitar designs from diemel guitars and ormsby. Really want something of decent quality at low to midrange prices.
Chambered Electric Acoustic project for neice and nephew
Working on my niece and nephews first guitars. Chambering the bodies. Guitar fetish body with 72 tele routing. Laser cutting pickguards 1/8 acrylic from delviesplastics.com. Used Keda dye powder for purple. Initialy wanted to paint metallic purple but kept oversanding wood grain. Also installing a piezo disc pickup in both neck pockets. Tested the sound and it sounded really great. No preamp had to crank amp but it sounded like when you put your ear on the neck and play. Does pickup hand noises but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Trying wood grain hack from guns and guitars. GFS tremolo, says I need to shim neck.
Kurt Cobain Mustang project
Cobains 3rd mustang with Jesus gethsemane picture. The above picture is best picture I can find. Have to recreate based on that. Not sure of colors. Have a stewmac schaller non tremolo bridge. Apparently cobain and novolseic had made a few homemade mustangs. The body looks really thin. He made another on in bloom video and another pale pink one. These guitars seem to be made to be broken. Used some applebarrel paint watered down with 25% water/paint ratio. Applied with soft brush.
Making a model of Cobains first mustang. Livenirvana.com has a lot of info. Bought reliced hardware from realliferelics on reverb. Issues when making vinyl record pickguard. Wanted to give pickguard some stability. Attempted to glue vinyl on .80″ acrylic with loctite glue but vinyl reacted weird to and became malleable on certain parts. Might have applied to much clamp pressure. Not sure. Maybe less glue.
Skeleton Yamaha FG700S Project
Yamaha Acoustic skeleton project. Inspired by Omaki. Tried contacting her but mypace outdated. Tried some acrylic paint on top but paint must’ve had some enamel in it or something, really hard to sand. Must strip paint off and try maybe a stain. Not reacting well to top. Might be the sealer on it and have to sand more. Think about using some transparent acrylic on top for cage and painted/underneath. Epilog laser , need to purchase thin 1/16 acrylic, maybe transparent yellow from delvie’s plastic. Love the laser machine, it is so accurate and and clean.

striped pickguard
render coming along well, angled p90s maybe? Headstock really growing on me. The toneninja tuners came in, they look very solid. Need to test them before buying more.
Body design Inspired by Teisco TG-64
This one has same string spacing as american strat, but a bit more expensive. Kind of debating wether I should keep same specs as a strat so that if one of my clients needs a fix, they can easily find. Thinking about this way too much? Should I just go with wvs50 IIk? Can decide right now. Also thinking about designing neck to easily retrofit a floyd rose?

BETTER
100% Straight pull headstock
Bit the bullet, asymetric but 100 percent straight string pull. Also the other designs were based off 3 inch wide blanks, when in fact they were 4 inches! I widened the neck a bit.
Inspired by headstock by Sam Koontz and looks a little more fender like. It looks like ocean waves. Also similar to lloyd loars mandolin. Inspired by 3 headstocks.
Really inspired by hufschmidguitars.com. He makes straight angle necks and straight pull on strings. He also makes amazing glow in the dark pickups. Also thinking about having truss rod adjustment at nut. Maybe not that much of a big deal considering maple neck and using warp resistant richlite fretboards.
So insecure that I need validation from other luthiers. I need to commit. I need confidence in my decision making. Less thinking and more doing. Less self doubting myself.

Bad Idea headstock part 1 of 14
Headstock idea – getting closer
Getting closer, kind of impossible to make D and G strings straight because of 14.5 mm washer on tuner. Very similar to Gibson ES-336 from 90s. String tree issue? Since this headstock will not be tilted back. Thought about the telecaster snake headstock but strings are not straight at all. Maybe shape more like an eagle head?

Amy May Acoustic Guitar Torrance, CA Sep 14, 2019
Amy May playing live acoustic set in Torrance California. Very impressed with her performance. She has a lot of enthusiasm and dedication. Great performance considering some personal issues that she is dealing with. Playing music is always a sort of cure for anything. Great tribute performance that her mother would be proud of. Thanks Amy!

Jackplate mirror acrylic
Used Mirror acrylic bought from amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AWXNHT0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Since I can’t fabricate my own metal at my apartment due to the loud sound. I can use mirror acrylic, which reflects better than chrome. Major issues with tearing though, have to use hand drill (5/32″ bit) at low speed with your index finger, not too hard but time consuming. Will create an extra pot hole for a master volume/blower switch, dual volume control and a bass cut tone control and the output jack. Gonna have to space this out right, but I think it’s doable.
Used Wen Scroll saw with spiral blades from flying dutchman. https://mikesworkshop.com/
Headstock ideas
Bouncing ideas off starcaster model, not clicking with me though, atm, Maybe something after seahawks logo, love the idea of headstock with bald eagle on it
Thinking about doing the standard 3/3 tuners and putting an eagle silhouette on top. inspired by this 4K video on Bali using the panasonic lx10 camera. Thinking about this portable camera for my trip.
Laser Engraved Pickup Covers
“I actually used a 100w yag laser. If you are looking to do acrylic (engraving or cutting) you’re gonna want a C02 laser. We have 2 trotec flatbed C02 machines that are pretty good for that kind of thing. You could look into sand carving the acrylic too vs just engraving with the laser, usually has a nicer finish.” -Reddit user Vesuz
We make stencils with the laser. Cover it with your sand blast stencil material and then use a C02 laser on low power to cut through the stencil material but not into the acrylic then go with a second pass on hi power to cut out the shape of the pickguard, then sand blast. Should speed up the process quite a bit. -Reddit user Vesuz
Udemy “How to Design Your Own Guitar” by Mark Bailey
https://www.udemy.com/course/how-to-design-your-own-guitar/
Enrolled in Online Course, Amazing teacher, gets right to it. You can tell he has a lot of experience. One difference I would do is design the blueprints in Illustrator first for more accuracy and flexibility. Just need to find a big ass blueprints printer that prints at 14-15 inches wide. Or maybe a no border printer and tape up legal size pages together, seems messy though. More Amazon shopping yay.
All-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$ Joey BadA$$
Inspiration for my guitar company name. A slow burn that builds up. I wanted a company name that means something.
Amerikkka.net launches
Domain purchased, talked to support, there other woocommerce plan was only couple dollars more but after watching videos, doesn’t seem to be too hard to set up on my own. Keeping design simple. Using photoshop, need a better logo. Also thought about trademarking name, only issue is that it sounds the same as America, and people will get confused. There is one trademark purchased on with Amerikkka in it. They have a class for selling guitars and making them. Only issue is I would have to pay about 250 for each category. Other issue is this fee is non refundable. Just seems like a pain in the ass, and I’d probably have to get a lawyer. $500 dollars plus a lawyer.
